High Tunstall College of Science is delighted to invited you to the College for our Year 6 Open Evening on Thursday 25th September 2025. We are excited to showcase our amazing state-of-the-art facilities to our prospective students and their families.
Due to oversubscription, time slots have been allocated to each of our feeder primary schools, with extra slots for those from non-feeder primaries. We hope this will minimise busy periods and ensure the evening is enjoyable for all. Booking is essential to allow you to visit at your chosen time.
The scheduled Open Evening will consist of a welcome from the Headteacher, followed by a tour of the College. HTCS staff and students will meet you in the Heart where food from the canteen will be served. You will then be able to look at our wonderful facilities and observe some live lessons which will be taking place. Our students will guide you around the College to ensure the event is safe, fun, and informative for all. If your child has additional needs, Mrs Rachael Gray our SENDCO will be available in The Heart all evening.

- Throston Primary School – 4:00 – 5:30PM
- Eldon Grove Academy – 4:30 – 6:00PM
- West Park Primary School – 4:45 – 6:15PM
- Hart, St. Peter’s Elwick, and Non-Feeder Primary Schools – 5:15 – 6:45PM
- Rift House and Non-Feeder Primary Schools – 5:30 – 7:00PM
*** If your child attends one of our feeder primaries and cannot attend during their allocated time slot, please attend one of the three time slots available to non-feeder primaries.
