“Marie Curie is an inspiration to the students and staff in Curie House. She overcame various challenges in her life, resulting in her being the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the first person to win two Nobel Prizes. Coming from a challenging background, she is a prime example of no matter who you are or where you are from – you can succeed!”

My Mission: My goal as House Leader is to help develop our young people into well rounded citizens and build a positive, productive ethos across the school. To do this, I will focus on growing the traits of effort, enjoyment and encouragement within the House. I, alongside Curie students, will help to create a positive learning environment built on positive interactions and relationships between staff and students and recognising academic, sporting and personal achievement.
Marie Curie Cancer Care is a devoted charity set up to help all those suffering with terminal illnesses as well as provide support for their families. As part of Curie House, we will be attached to this charity and endeavour to do our upmost in supporting this fantastic charitable organisation. www.mariecurie.co.uk
